Well, I have known for some time that when an image is sized by pixel dimensions it doesn't matter how that is expressed in resolution.
Some people in accepting images for a competition, will specify the pixel dimensions for an entry and then say that it must be at 300dpi. I haven't been sure why they added that comment because it makes no difference when viewing that image digitally.
It came as a surprise to discover that the resolution does make a difference when using the type tool.
Why is that true?
Is that clearer?
