Storry:
I wanted to test Photoshop CC (2014). After it was downloaded with the help of Creative Cloud, the installation starts automatically. When it was finally finished there appeared an exclamation mark. There stood installation error.
In the log I could read about what went wrong. There stood: "Microsoft Visual C + + 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) 9.0.30729.5677 [...] Failed to install Microsoft Visual C + + 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)".
Problem:
My Microsoft Visual C + + 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) has version 9.0.30729.7523. This version is higher than that which Adobe wants to install on my PC. This causes the error. Please fix that!
