Alignment ("Center at Cut", Star at Cut", "End at Cut") disabled for Cross Dissolve transition.

I could swear that at one time, the "Alignment" feature was available for *ALL* of the Dissolve transitions. Out of the 6 Dissolve options, "Cross Dissolve" is the only one where this is not available. I uninstalled and re-installed PremierPro CC, but to no avail. Hoping someone could suggest something that would turn this feature back on. Am I imagining this or is it normal?? Thanks in advance....
