I believe I am experiencing the same issue. I was attempting to upload a new site to go daddy and it crashed right after entering the ftp host and credentials. it would not go any further after server minutes it would give me an error that it could not make a connection and gave up. I was doing this from my work location but from home I don't have any issues. The weird thing is that I was working on an older site and have no problem with uploading it from my work location. my work around for my work site is to use filezilla.
