Are you still trying to resolve your problem? When posting a question, it is bets to give as much detail as possible about what you're trying to do, what you've done so far, the version of Director you're using. That way, it will enable anyone responding to better advise on a solution.
In terms of the mouse wheel part of the question, there is no standard event in Director for this.
