One way....

1. Text Menu/New Text/Default Text

Moving forward, best have the title on Video 2 and your video on Video 1.

2. In the Titler/Text section, using the Selection Tool, click on the default "Add Text" to select it, and then hit Delete.

3. Go to the Titler/Shape section. Click on the Rectangle Tool, and draw a band toward the bottom of your image on screen.

Use Safety Margins as guide.

4. Select the created band with the Selection Tool, go to Color/Color Properties, and change the color of the created band to black or whatever color you want.

5. Click on the Horizontal Text Tool in the Titler/Text section, and start typing your text (from left edge of black band to right edge of

black band.

At this point you have two selectable components - text and band. If you need to adjust the position of text or the band, use the

Selection Tool to select it and use the mouse cursor to move it into position accordingly. After than its done, with all selected, continue...

6. Go to Text Menu/"Roll/Crawl Options" and set up for

Crawl, left, Start Off Screen & End Off Screen

7. Close out of the Titler, render the Timeline, and determine what you have.

Please let us know the outcome and if you need supplemental information on the above.

Thank you.
