I did solution 6 of deleting my photoshop font cache. Will monitor to see if the problem resurfaces, but so far it seems promising! Just now the message appeared very fast (after 3rd photo I had to edit). But now, I opened a series of new documents, typed in text, copied text, deleted text, and so far the message has not surfaced. Argh, fingers crossed it doesn't appear!
