Place the main image sequence into the timeline.
Put the alpha pass image sequence on the layer above.
Set the Transfer/Blending mode of the alpha pass layer to "Screen".
Apply Effect/Stylize/Glow to the alpha pass layer. Adjust radius and intensity settings to your liking. Adjust Opacity of the layer if necessary.
For a more vivid glow, set the transfer mode to "Add".
