Yes, you are naïve. I don't mean that in a critical way - you just haven't been here long enough to come to know that Chris is not a talking head who only toes the company line, but rather a plain-speaking engineer who acknowledges bona fide problems and facilitates their correction. You also don't realize that even though we have uncommon access here to Adobe engineers, there are some things they are absolutely prohibited from talking about - including future release plans.
