No. Balance is the key. All components should work well together with no one being stand out more powerful than any other. When I bought a laptop earlier this year, I looked at the gaming laptops. They work well with Photoshop because they have decent GPUs, and offer great value for money because of economy of scale. I got an MSI GT70. I have my full CC subscription installed on it, and I love it. In some ways it is faster than my desktop which was built for video editing, and is very high end.
